Company history
April 1996 License is transferred from Toda Shuzo to the company, and the company is renamed Goshi Kaisha (limited partnership company) Amami Oshima Kaiun Shuzo.
July 1997 Distillery is relocated from Naze City to a newly built one in Uken Village.
January 1997 Goshi Kaisha Amami Oshima Kaiun Shuzo is dissolved.
February 1997 Amami Oshima Kaiun Shuzo Co., Ltd. is established.
June 2000 Healthy drink factory and brown sugar moromi vinegar brewery begin operating.
May 2001 Brown sugar factory and liquor distillery are established and begin operating.
December 2004 A new office and an event building are built at Uken distillery.
August 2006 The company obtains ISO 9001:2000 certification.
August 2006 Kagoshima Branch of Amami Oshima Kaiun Shuzo Co., Ltd. is established.
June 2009 The company obtains ISO 9001:2008 certification.
July 2018 The company is selected as a Kagayaku Chusho Kigyo (brilliant small and medium-sized enterprise) by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency of Japan.
